Retinal imaging, a revolution in eye and healthcare
This process employs high-resolution imaging techniques to take digital photographs of the inside of the eye, including the retina, blood vessels and the optic nerve. This enables the optometrist to detect early signs of eye and health related diseases. Glaucoma, diabetes, hypertension and macular degeneration are the diseases that can be detected in their early stages if retinal imagery is done at regular intervals. We recommend that you have it done once every 2 years so that any changes in the insides of the eye can be detected and treated immediately.
